“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately.

And to front only the essential facts of life,

And to see if I could not learn what it had to teach me.

And not when I came to die, discover that I had not yet lived.

~ Henry David Thoreau

At nineteen, Marta walked away from the university to answer a deeper calling from the wilderness.

Trekking amidst the vast, potent beauty of the northern mountains, nature taught her directly about life, death, and reality.

While immersing into the depths of the wild, she survived harrowing near-death experiences and was gifted divine vistas of humanity’s future.

Venturing deeper into the Canadian Rockies, Marta also worked with two indigenous hunting guides, fifteen horses, and a malamute wolfdog. They traversed hundreds of miles into some of Earth’s most pristine remaining wilderness areas.

Backpack the pages with Marta as the majestic mountains reawaken our human relationship with the natural world.

She discovers how the wilderness whispers timeless wisdom and reminds us of a beautiful divine plan that is our destiny.
